Metroid Pure, (c)2006 Omnimaga

  First off, I'd like to thank you personally for downloading this game, and for hopefully being one of the many people to download my other games. It is because of you that I could keep making games for as long as I did, although I know recentally my releases have been fewer and farther in-between. I have made an honest effort to release things that I think people would like to play, while makng games that I like also. I have pushed the bounds of what I thought BASIC could do time and time again, and I was always suprised to see the responses. I do understand the concern surrounding "Metroid I" and why I have not fixed all it's issues, after all, it IS my game and needs an update, badly. And I also understand that there will be some protest about my retirement, but it's okay, I think I went out with a bang... and with that, I proudly present...

  Welcome to the ONLY 100% pure BASIC Metroid as of this date, instead of a sequel to "Metroid I" this is a re-make. It was made entirelly on the TI-83+ calculator, and meant to run on it, you can surely run it on an TI-83+SE/84+/SE but it will be a bit harder to play, but such is life.

::-----------------::

::1. Setting Up::

  Setup is simple really send the seperate files to your calculator. Be sure to have ALL OF YOUR RAM FREE or, most of it. I tested this game on a 83+ with things installed that ate RAM, but you should have somewhere around 8000b free, is you have less, it's okay, but I like to have around 8000b to keep it running faster.

::2. Starting::

  Okay, so you have all the programs in your RAM, now what? Hit [PRGM] then [ALPHA] then [8] then hit DOWN until you get to "PURE", now hit [ENTER] then [ENTER] again.

::3. Controls::

  Yaaay controls! ere they are!

Left and Right = Move left and right
Up = Out of morph ball (if acquired)
Down = Into morph ball (if acquired)
2nd = Jump
MODE = Shoot (if acquired)
ALPHA = Pivot
CLEAR = Exits

::4. Bosses::

First Boss - Kraid - He'll move about, firing spikes and spewing fire at you, the only way to kill him is to shoot him when his mouth is open, 9 shots and he is dead. - Gaurds - Morph Ball

Second Boss - ???? - He was a stand in boss for "Metroid I" and never got replaced, he moves around ever 5 engine cycles to a random location, shoot him 9 times and he is dead. - Gaurds - Missiles

Final Boss - Dark Samus - He will follow you and shoot at you when you're in range, he takes 18 normal hits, of it you opted to get the missiles, he only takes 9. - Gaurds - Final run
